Quick update on Blue. It’s all back together. Finding tires was a bit of a challenge. Metzler no longer seems to make the tires I would prefer, so I opted for an Avon option. They are quite nice and should hold up well according to all the feedback I’ve reviewed.


I also have the rebuilt carbs on.


They still need some fine tuning, but are good enough to ride a bit. Sharp eyes will note the full delete of the supplemental air system from the bike. I used the air box cover from Red since I had an extra for that project already and Blue had the version with all the Swiss cheese holes.

With the rear shock replaced, you can also see the bike now has the correct height.
This is a great bike to ride.
